Sarah opened Irvin PR in 2004 to conduct PR for major community events in Central Ohio. With a focus on hard work, exceptional client communication, unparalleled media and influencer relationships, Sarah has expanded Irvin PR’s capabilities to service arts and non-profits, general business, healthcare, statewide campaigns and more. Additionally, much of her work has been focused on elevating the profile of the City of Columbus. As a result, she was asked to be a part of the City of Columbus Bicentennial Marketing Committee; Irvin PR then led the PR effort for that year-long celebration. Additionally, Sarah has led successful PR campaigns for everything from major restaurant and hotel grand openings to statewide issue campaigns for Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services and Ohio Dept. of Jobs and Family Services.
Sarah was honored by Business First as a “Forty Under 40” award winner and earned the APR designation (Accreditation in Public Relations) by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Sarah has also received the PRSA PRISM award for media relations and crisis communication for her work with the Columbus Marathon and a special event PRISM award for her work with the Komen Columbus Race for the Cure. She was also named a Business First “Person to Know in the Media.”
