Sarah Irvin, President
Sarah Irvin has excelled in the public relations industry for more than 15 years, having worked in some of the most prominent public relations firms in central Ohio. She has worked on such major accounts as Honda of America, Limited Brands, the Ohio Division of Travel and Tourism and more.
She has earned the designation of accreditation in Public Relations by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Sarah has also received the PRSA PRISM award for media relations for her work on the Columbus Marathon and special event PRISM award for Komen Columbus Race for the Cure.
Sarah worked in collaboration with the Columbus Department of Recreation & Parks and Ringling Bros. to create the Red Nose Children's Run in Columbus. More than 650 children participated in the 2007 event. The Columbus event serves as a template for Ringling around the country as part of its national Circus Fit efforts to combat childhood obesity.
Finally, in her spare time, Sarah is also a board member of Dine Originals Columbus, a group of more than 30 individually owned and operated restaurants, and is co-chair of the 2008 German Village Haus Und Garten Tour.
Patricia Donahey Geiger
Patricia Donahey Geiger collaborates with Irvin Public Relations on various projects and brings more than 20 years of media relations and marketing skills to the table. Patty was formerly the Media Relations Manager for Experience Columbus, where she developed strategic plans for media campaigns, wrote and edited for two newsletters, and co-produced and scripted segments for weekly and monthly television appearances.
Previously she was the Director of Marketing and Communications at BalletMet Columbus, a premier national dance company. While there she managed all facets of marketing and communications including public relations, media relations, the planning and management of ticket sales, subscriptions, special promotions, event planning, publications, advertising creation and placement, Web site brand management and the recruitment and management of volunteers.
As the Communications/PR Officer of the Pontifical Josephinum College, she acted as media spokesperson for the College of Liberal Arts and the graduate-level School of Theology. In her three years there, she developed and administered crisis communications, media relations, and security plans; formulated brand strategies; and directed creative communications concepts. For her efforts she received the Independent College Advancement Associates’ Newcomer of the Year Award and the Outstanding Service Award, 2002.
Donahey Geiger is a member of the Public Relations Society of America. She earned her B.A. in Public Relations at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. Her interests include the arts, historic preservation and antiques. She also loves the outdoors and is an avid hiker.
